Dora Herbst is an icon and pioneer of the Ibiza look in the Hippie decade. She arrived in Ibiza in 1968 at a very young age and fell in love with the island. She had studied art for four years at the Folkwang Academy of Fine Arts in Essen.

She painted and when she couldn't find painting materials, she found iberia fabrics and dyes in a drugstore. This changed her life from painting to fashion with fabrics. She mainly made clothes for herself, but after a short time the Ibiza Look empire became known.

Customers from all over the world came to order, as did a long list of celebrities such as herself: Ronny Schneider, Diana Ross, Cuqui Fierro, Baroness von Thyssen, Victoria Principal, Dallas Dynastie Series, Naomi Campbell, Sandra, Duchess of Alba, Beatrice von Orleans, Fran Fabrian, Gloria von Thurn and Taxis, Sarah Connor, Christina von Hohenlohe and many more.

In 1971 she became the first international promoter of the Ibiza Look and number 1 in the Balearic Islands and for this she was awarded a prize in Madrid. In 2023 she received the award La Llave de Ibiza as a tribute to a life dedicated to fashion. She attended trade fairs in many countries with her collection and soon began to open shops in various cities.

Today you can find all her collections in her only boutique in Marina Botafoch (Ibiza).
